Sound Sense is excited to be in Birmingham and partnering with member MAC Makes Music for our first in-person Community Music Connected event!
We welcome local organisations and individuals to join us for a day of skill-sharing, networking and discussion, with a focus on ‘Lifelong Music-Making’ - a space to explore and celebrate creative music-making at all stages of life.
This event is for you if any of these statements ring true:
- You help people make music in your community; that may be in a hospital, care home, community centre, school, early years settings or outdoors
- You call yourself a community musician, music practitioner, music therapist, music teacher, music facilitator or music educator (to name a few!)
- You’re keen to freshen up your practice with some new skills, tools and resources
- You love making music and are curious to find out what community music is and meet people who are working in the field
- You’d like to connect with others working in community music in and around Birmingham
