Use your business skills to help a music charity
Sound Sense is a national charity which supports and promotes the work of community musicians - those who help people make music which reflect their lives and aspirations.
We are well-regarded and have been successful in our work. But for our next stage of growth we need to become more entrepreneurial, and we’re looking for skilled voluntary advisers who can specifically help us with that.
Ideally we're looking for people who have a track record as an entrepreneur or business manager (whether in a commercial, charity or social enterprise background) and who want to use those skills to help an influential charity develop its work, either as a fully-fledged trustee or as a member of the board’s business task group. We would like someone available to attend a daytime meeting once a quarter (usually in London) and to offer phone and email support to the board and its chief executive in between. Of course, we will pay out of pocket expenses.
To find out more about this opportunity, download the business adviser attachment below, email info@soundsense.org or call Kathryn Deane on 01449 737342. You might like to download our membership leaflet, too.
